Jacob Hoelle is Laid to Rest at Local Cemetery
Funeral services for the late Jacob Hoelle, who Died Friday evening at St. Nicholas hospital after a short illness, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the Robert H. Kroos Funeral Home with the Rev. E.P. Mauley of the First Evangelical, church officiating. Two duets, "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and "Goodnight and Good morning" were sung by Mrs. Manley and (??) Miller.
The floral tributes sent to the memory of Mr. Holle, who was well known throughout the city, were numerous and beautiful. There were a large number of individual sprays and several set pieces and designs.
The pallbears were Messrs Herman Roeder, William Schnorr, Victor Hensel, Frank Maruss, Fred Oliver and Charles Hamerland and internment was made in Wildwood Cemetery.
Those who came from out of town to attend the funeral were Christ Holle and son, Edwin, his wife and daughter and Adolph Hoelle of Peru, Illinois; John Witzmann, La Salle, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Louis Hoelle and Family, Mr. and Mrs. William Hoelle, Mrs. Jess Hoelle and Charles Fleckenstein, Chicago, and Mr. and Mrs. J. Fleckenstein, Milwaukee.
